What is there to do on Percy Priest Lake
The first thing to do at Percy Priest Lake is to go to the Visitors Center on the West side of the Dam. At the Visitors Center you will find there are many things to do such as fishing, hunting, picnicking, boating, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, and more. There are 24 islands to explore on the 14,000 acre lake. The lake is just 15 minutes east of Nashville downtown, which makes it easy to fit into anyone vacation plans. Nashville Shores Waterpark on the banks of Percy Priest Lake
- It is located on the east side of the dam, and you will see the sign on Bell road. Use your GPS and you can find it at 4001 Bell Road, Hermitage, TN 37076. Phone: 615-889-7050
Percy Priest Lake beaches are located at Anderson Road, Cook and Seven Points Campground. All three have sand beaches, surrounded by restricted area buoys and a floating orange boundary. Anderson Road and Cook beaches have playgrounds, picnic sites, group shelters, boat launching ramps, and bathrooms.
Elm Hill Marina
- Boat Rentals are: 13 Pontoon, 2 Ski, and 3 Fishing Boats, 2 bass w/live wells, overnight slips, Wireless Internet, Fuel dock w/ 6 pumps, security, propane, live bait, boat ramp, The Cove restaurant with live bands during season (end Oct thru beginning march). - John Hopkins dock owner operator is a well known pro-fisherman who is willing and ready to advise you. Boat Rentals are pontoon and fishing. Open Slips to 60 ft covered slips. - Admiral Jims Marina Restaurant prepares one of a kind daily specials. The Marina's other amenities are Boat Rentals, pontoons, and fishing boats. 30 ft covered slips available with Wi-Fi. 4 Gas pumps with 50 ft hoses, storage and repair. Nashville Boat Rentals
- Located behind Nashville Shores Water Park. Go in the Nashville Shores Drive and tell them you are going to Nashville Boat Rentals. Make left at the sign and park for free. 15 jet ski rentals by hour, half day and full day, 15 pontoon boat
rentals for 1/2 and full day, the pontoon rentals has 3 with seats, the rest are party boats without seats, you bring your own seats and whatever equipment you want, grills, generators, coolers, etc. There are some lockers but most people store things in vehicle. Percy Priest Yacht Club
- Percy Priest Yacht Club is a recognized yacht club and a member of Yachting Clubs of America. Primarily based at the Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina. There are 6 sponsored regattas plus mid-week and weekend club races during season.
