What is there to do on Old Hickory Lake

A good place to start is at the Old Hickory Lake Visitor Center located in Rockland Recreation Area in Hendersonville. There you will find out about hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, picnicking, boating, and water skiing.

Old Hickory Lake has a large beach called Old Hickory Beach - It is located in the city of Old Hickory. It has a large sandy beach area with a playground, concrete tables and a large covered shelter. The cost is $4 per vehicle and the hours are 10 am to 6 pm open year round.
Directions: From Hwy. 45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) turn North on Industrial Dr. in Old Hickory, left on Swinging Bridge Rd., right on Burnett Rd.

Black Jack Cove - Previously known as Old Hickory Marina Owner, Bart Bagsby. The onsite Restaurant is The Black Pearl. The marina has been going thru serious upgrading, transforming it into a visitors delight. Open year round. 2001 Riverside Drive, Old Hickory, TN 37138,

Anchor High Marina - A full service marina offering wet/dry slips, fuel (gas and diesel), and a small dock store. If you are hungry there is a restaurant called Anchor High Grill. It is a floating restaurant made from an old paddle-wheel boat. It has an indoor-outdoor patio. Open year round with entertainment on the weekends during the summer.
