There are not many Nashville Rodeo events so I have had to go out a little farther to find them. The Bridgestone Center and the Municipal Auditorium has some bull riding events. The other places I find them are in Lebanon, Murfreesboro and Franklin, Tennessee.
Tennessee High School Rodeo Association - The contestants are from 9th to 12th graders. They are allowed to compete whether they are home schooled, come from public or private high schools. The girl events are barrels, pole bending, breakaway roping, team roping and goat tying.
The guys' events are bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc,
team roping, tiedown calf roping and steer wrestling. They qualify for
National High School Finals Rodeo in July from points earned in the top
Franklin Rodeo - Bare back riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, mutton busting, calf scramble, barrel racing, and bull riding. Located at the Ag Expo Center in Franklin Tennessee. The address is 42156 Long Lane, Franklin, Tennessee, 37064
- It seats 4,600 but can be made to accommodate 6,500 people. The
coliseum accommodates local, state, regional, national and international
horse shows. It sits on 154 acres and has a 150 by 300 foot floor, and a
covered warm-up area, also 492 10 X 10 stalls plus a modern sound
system. There are 70 camper hookups and the parking lot has 400 spaces.
