Nashville Fishing

Nashville Fishing is something young and old can enjoy. There is an abundance of fishing spots with two large lakes and a river. If you are new to the area and would like quick results, get a guide. They can take you to all the best spots.

The Nashville Lakes are Old Hickory Lake and J Percy Priest Lake. They are both good fishing lakes. Boats can be rented from the marinas along with buying bait. Get a map of the lake and have them tell you where some good fishing spots are at.

If you want to fish in a Tennessee river, the Cumberland River runs right through Nashville. It flows into Old Hickory Lake and out the other side.

Some of the fish you will find are large-mouth and small-mouth bass, crappie, striped bass, Cherokee bass, white bass, catfish, bluegill and bream.
