The Nashville CMA Music Festival has grown into a premier Country Music Festival. It is a hot four day event for the CMA Fans to meet the Nashville Country Music Stars. The fan fest starts on Wednesday with the Kick off Parade and Block Party and end on Sunday.
The actual events start on Thursday. You need to get your four-day tickets to really enjoy the event, but a Saturday and Sunday single-day ticket is also available. Get your tickets in early spring and also you need to get a four day parking pass to park at LP Field.
When you get the tickets they will give you a pass that you wear around your neck. This pass will allow you to take the shuttles around to the events and also get you into the extras that you want to see.
This will give you access to Fan Fair Hall, early admittance to the concerts at Riverfront Park, Stage-front access to the Fan Photo Lines at LP Field and Riverfront Park, Shuttle service between official venue stops, and main outdoor exhibits and entertainment, Family Zone, Fun Zone, Music City Zone and Sports Zone.
The Nashville CMA Music Festival evening concerts will be at LP Field, which is the Tennessee Titans Football Stadium on the other side of the Cumberland River. Some of the biggest Country Music Stars will be seen each night and there will be a special section in front of the stage to take pictures. This section will be exclusive only to four day ticket holders.
Fan Fair Hall is in the Nashville Convention Center. This is where you will get your favorite stars autograph and your picture taken with them. You must be a 4-day or a single-day ticket holder to get in.
The autographs can only be acquired by having a ticket. You need to get there early to get a ticket and come back later to get your favorite stars autograph and picture. You have to go to each booth to get a ticket for that Star.
Just outside of the Bridgestone Arena is a stage where you can watch free concerts. There is also an information booth there.
The Sports Zone will have some really cool displays, hot cars, interactive kiosks, and more. You will be able to sample food and there is also an entertainment stage.
The Chevy Music Stage will have daily concerts free and also display hot rods in the vehicle display.
Family Zone is a good place to take the kids. With inflatable's for the kids, face painting, arts and crafts, balloon animals, an entertainment stage and more.
Fun Zone is a must. You will get free stuff, register to win prizes and see cool people just to mention a few. Be sure to see what there is to vote on, you will like it.
Music City Zone is a good place to relax with drinks, shade and bar-b-que. Listen to the live music and get autographs of some of the Stars.
The Nashville Riverfront Park and Stage is free to anyone. There will be a full lineup of entertainers playing their best music.
There will be a special section in front of the Nashville Riverfront Stage to take pictures. This section will be exclusive only to four day ticket holders. They get in earlier than the general public to get first pick in front of the stage.
Remember it can get hot and humid during the Nashville CMA Music Festival, and you need to dress accordingly. It can get into the 90's so dress for it, maybe even wear a hat.
Also wear comfortable shoes and bring a light weight poncho for the showers that can happen. Make sure you stay hydrated, drink lots of water.
When you get the 4 day parking pass, you will park at LP Field Stadium Parking Lot and take the shuttle service that is parked on the right side of the LP Field Stadium.
Now you don't have to worry about getting around to all the locations. The shuttle buses are spaced about 5 to 10 minutes apart and you can get on and off at any location. They run in a loop and are air conditioned so this will also give you a break from the heat.
There is the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge on the left side of LP Field Stadium that you can take if you want to walk. This will take you on a scenic walk across the Cumberland River. From there you will get a look at the Nashville CMA Music Festival.
