Black Jack Cove Marina is located on Old Hickory Lake. It is in the town of Old Hickory. The owners Bart and Angela Bagsby have given the marina a Pirates of the Caribbean flair.
The Marina has about a mile of shoreline that fall within the borders of two towns, Lakewood and Old Hickory. With 27 acres of land and water the marina will be an excellent boating experience and the goal is to be available to all income levels.
The restaurant, the Black Pearl, is open to the public with an upscale menu, and a casual boating atmosphere. Lunch and dinner will be served seating about 90 people inside and about 100 people outdoors under a covered deck.
Across from the restaurant there is a ship store selling fishing bait,
tackle, basic boater's needs and safety equipment. Along with the
restaurant and store, there is a new fuel dock with a 200 foot walkway
leading to it.
It has an enclosed boat storage facility that services up to 250 boats. Boat owners storing their boats in the facility will have access to the water in a timely manner by a hydraulic crane. There are over 300 wet slips and new piers for public fishing. Also a new playground will be built for the kid's entertainment.
